In this novel, two fascinating stories intertwine. Tom Givens goes to Mexico to escape a failed marriage. He meets the beautiful Lupita, who convinces him to travel with her to exotic destinations. At the same time, Givens meets Don Tanis, a charming and older Mexican gentleman who wins Givens' admiration with his fantastic immigration story. Givens' obsession with Lupita, three decades his junior, draws him into helping her fulfill her daring dreams. A strong bond with Don Tanis helps Givens navigate toward home.
