LOVE MORE: Let's End Racism, Sexism, Ageism Now! is a unifying book to uplift humanity. Our values and goals are shifting so fast in our culture and our country; we can hardly keep up with the swift changes. Technology is advancing by eons. We are in the midst of the Fourth Industrial Revolution. It is vital that we create a more compassionate society to meet the requirements of the new age.
Race is now a dominant issue in mainstream culture, with the Black Lives Matter movement gaining powerful traction. We have an opportunity to be part of a significant Paradigm Shift to create and sustain authentic, true justice and equality in America. Not just for people of color, but also for women and our elders.
To initiate a meaningful and respectful conversation, I have focused my care and attention on addressing race and racism, women and sexism, ageism and homelessness with clarity, reverence, and urgency. My book offers prayer, meaningful stories, and solutions for ending racism in America, for uplifting women and elders, for caring for our homeless spiritually - all by using our personal connection to the Sacred, and diverse practices to bring in the best present and best future, for everybody.
About the Author
Lisa Garmon, a spiritual thought leader, cultural transformer, and author, holds an undergraduate degree in English and Biology, and a master's degree in Teaching (MAT) from Simmons College. A retired Wholistic Health Educator and Sex Educator, Lisa currently teaches nutrition and thought healing.
Married to the same man for over fifty years, mother of two grown children and grandmother of two grandchildren, Lisa has been on a spiritual journey since age five when she first desired to be close to God. At age six, she spent an entire day silently visiting God. She sat on a rock in the sunshine looking through birch trees where she believed God was; miracles flowed. A lifelong learner, teacher and prayer partner, Lisa continues to study, meditate, and pray daily. She hopes her stories of the miracles in her life will inspire you.
