About the Author
Genie Valen lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico with her husband, Patrick. Her life experiences include a career as a professional classical dancer and teacher, hypnotherapy training, and a practice in the healing art of skincare. She founded Creative Dance Adventures, inspiring young children in Los Angeles and Santa Fe. Genie hopes to continue to inspire children of all ages with her stories.
Leslie Cook began her professional career as a dancer with North Carolina Dance Theater. She continued in the film and television industry for over 30 years as a dancer, choreographer, and actress. Currently, she lives in Santa Fe, New Mexico where she enjoys the many facets of culture and creativity.
